Desert Diamond West Valley Casino
Desert Diamond Casinos has been a customer of ours since the beginning. We were awarded the Design/Build contract for A/V and Access Control for their new Casino in Glendale, AZ. We designed a cutting-edge Crestron controlled audio video system for ease of use by the client and a Genetec access control system. It has been featured in many local news reports.
The New Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise Shared Services Administration Building features a customized executive board room, 5 conference rooms and 6 training rooms. These rooms have recessed motorized projector screens, 4K laser projection, commercial LED displays, microphones, speakers, wireless presentation, fixed and PTZ conference cameras and our favorite, Crestron control of the Lutron lighting system.
The new Desert Diamond West Valley Casino features a massive modern Background music system for the casino floor, event center and a performance sound reinforcement system for the promotions/entertainment stage. There are over 400 speakers installed on this project including dual 15” subwoofers that truly completes the sound. The BSS digital sound processing system and digital Crown amplifiers bring this system to the next level with a truly robust Dante network. The Bingo Hall sound is crisp, and the walls are lined with UHD displays and a video wall that ensures you are in the game no matter where you sit. The Poker Venue is state of the art featuring a ceiling mounted 16 display array and that is just the beginning. The Winners Sports Bar features over 40 UHD displays to view from any angle and just in case that is not enough for our sports enthusiasts the massive video wall cannot be missed. The Sports bar includes a private dining area that is equipped with a 98” UHD display surrounded by ten 65” displays and an amazing sound system. There are over 300 displays in all with over half of them covering the casino floor. The casino patrons can rest assured whether your playing slots or hitting the table games there are more than enough displays to guarantee you will not miss your live sports and entertainment while you play.
The entire Desert Diamond West Valley property utilizes a Genetec access control system we installed. There are over 300 new access-controlled doors. We installed access control for man traps, elevators, gates, and all types of interior and exterior doors. There are also over 60 duress buttons through-out the property. We even installed a wireless duress button solution for mobile point of sales.
The fast-paced project had challenges, but it went great overall and the client appreciated the partnership J2 provided. We are actively working at Desert Diamond West Valley Casino and helping in any way we can as new needs arise.
